Jayden's first lost tooth

Jayden came home from school on Tuesday, 3/12/13 and wanted to show us how loose his "wiggler" had become.  We both wiggled it and it was almost out.  Mom asked to feel it one more time and it came out in my fingers.  Jayden was very proud of his first lost tooth, and really excited about the money he got from the tooth fairy.  On Friday, we were in the car driving and Jayden was talking about his tooth again.  He asked me what would happen if his big tooth fell out.  I told him that he didn't want to loose the big ones, that they were permanent.  His next question..."well, how do we get the gold ones then?"  All I could do was laugh out loud!  Here's Jayden with his tooth in the ziploc bag, and of course the spot where it used to be :)

Happy Baby!!!

There is nothing like a few gummy baby smiles to start your morning off right!  Carsten was exactly 7 weeks old in these pictures.

New Bouncy Seat

Carsten got a new bouncy seat...he's a big fan of it!  He loves talking to his animal friends on the toy bar.

Go State!

It's never to early to start molding a fan, right?!?!

Carsten - 6 weeks old!

Carsten is 6 weeks old already!  He'll be 7 weeks on Monday, 3/11/13.  He has become very aware of his surroundings.  He smiles a lot more now, and even laughed at Daddy this afternoon.  It seems that he changes daily and grows bigger by the minute.
Watching Mommy do laundry while checking out his furry companion, Hank.
Apparently overalls make Carsten look huge, but this was 6 weeks old exactly.
Carsten's first time in the Bumbo seat...he liked it and seemed to be able to sit well in it!
Aw, a smile for the camera!
No, his cheeks are not getting any smaller.....only bigger :)

Carsten - 1 month old

It is almost impossible to believe that Carsten is already a month old! Time really does fly.  He has started having much longer awake times and discovering his voice.  He seems amused by all of the random sounds and coos that he can make.  He also recently started smiling, which is adorable.  It's been really hard to get a picture of him smiling, but I finally did yesterday (though not the best picture).  He is such a blessing in our lives and we continue to be thankful for such an amazing gift!

Brotherly Love

Jayden decided to show Carsten how his new Nintendo 3DS works.  It made for a cute quick photo opportunity.
