Jayden's Soccer Game 4/27/13

Jayden finally got a nice day for soccer this past weekend!  After breaking his arm and missing the entire fall season, followed by his first game getting cancelled in the spring, then his second game being low 30's and snowing.....we thought this season was a bit cursed!  Luckily, things turned around this weekend.  Their team is still a bit of the Bad News Bears, but he's having fun.  It was also Carsten's first extended period outside and he seemed to love it!

More Brotherly Love

We put Carsten's Ocean Wonders Aquarium on his crib railing recently (yep, we're starting to dream of laying him down while still awake haha).  Jayden was very interested in what this new thing did; apparently, he doesn't remember his from when he was a baby :)  Jayden ended up getting into the crib with Carsten to "watch" the aquarium.  He later decided to narrate what was happening....it was really cute.  The video quality from my camera isn't the best, sorry, but we still wanted to share.

Jayden and Carsten just hanging out on the couch.  Thank you Great-Grandma for Carsten's cute Polo outfit.  Jayden also said thank-you to Grandma and Grandpa for his Kentucky Tiger shirt (oh well, close, right?!?).

Carsten in Action - 11 weeks

I figured it was time we attempt a video or two :)  Carsten is growing so quickly!  He is a master at smiling now.  We are pretty sure he thinks that he can talk, and he is really great at cooing!  On Tuesday of this week Carsten was making all sorts of noise so we thought we should share with everyone just what we are talking about.  I've mentioned numerous times about how Carsten is super wiggly....we thought you might like to see that too :)

Hank turned 1!

Our fur baby is officially a year old now!  Hank's birthday is April 1.....the fact he was born on April Fool's Day probably should have been some sort of sign for us, but we love him anyways :)  For Hank's birthday, he got a Breakfast Sausage Cake, complete with candle.  We were impressed by his patience...apparently he really is growing up!

Easter 2013

We had a really nice Easter this year.  Carsten was obviously to young to understand Easter at all, but of course he had an Easter outfit, as well as a small gift from the Easter Bunny.  Jayden got an Easter bag full of goodies from the Easter Bunny as well.  The Easter Bunny hid some eggs in the house for Jayden and he had a great time trying to find them all.
